Gender and Marginalized Groups

Overcoming barriers to women’s civic participation and championing the rights of the vulnerable and disenfranchised.

Eurasia Foundation equips civil society organizations and civic leaders to build more inclusive and equitable societies, and to combat discrimination or disempowerment of individuals based on gender, disability, ethnicity, or geography. We provide technical assistance to individuals and institutions working on gender, disability, indigenous rights, and trafficking in persons. By sharing expertise, building organizational capacity, and supporting and connecting communities on the ground, our programs center socially and economically marginalized populations.

Indigenous Communities Lead Sustainable Change in the Arctic

Eurasia Foundation is supporting a coalition of Indigenous communities, climate researchers, and nonprofits in the U.S. and Russian Arctic to place human stories at the center of climate research.
