Eric Boyle

Eric D. Boyle is an international strategic growth executive with over two decades of experience in business development, market strategy, and international policy. He currently serves as the Managing Principal with a focus on Strategy & Business Development at The Asia Group, where he leads the transformation of the firm’s business development (BD) infrastructure, secures new business, and launches new service lines to support ambitious growth across the Indo-Pacific region and globally.

Previously, Eric was a Senior Vice President at ICF, where he led a team providing market, competitive, and pricing insights that contributed to over $1.3 billion in business wins. Throughout his tenure at ICF, he built and led BD teams across the full lifecycle, from market intelligence and positioning to capture, proposal development, and strategic partnerships. His leadership drove multimillion-dollar deals in global development, energy, travel, hospitality, and healthcare, and he played a key role in integrating Generative AI into ICF’s BD tools and practices. Before ICF, Eric held leadership roles at Eurasia Foundation, the Urban Institute, and Catholic Relief Services, where he managed large-scale programs and business development initiatives across Eurasia, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe. In his early career, he worked in educational exchange in several countries and served in the Peace Corps in Kyrgyzstan.

Fluent in Russian and proficient in German, with conversational abilities in Armenian, French, Kyrgyz, and Ukrainian, he is deeply engaged in global policy and business networks. He holds an MPA in Public Finance and an MA in Russian and East European Affairs from Indiana University, as well as a BA in German from the College of William & Mary. He is an avid traveler, learner, bicyclist, and skier. He and his wife have two grown children and live in Vienna, Virginia.
