Salary Range: $50,000 - $57,000  (The compensation range provided is in compliance with state specific laws)  

Hiring Salary Maximum: $57,000

Eurasia Foundation (EF) is accepting applications for a Program Assistant (PA). The PA is a member of the Civic Education and Leadership (CEL) Department and is responsible for providing programmatic and administrative support to existing and new exchange projects within the CEL department, drafts various technical documents, and communicates with program participants.  

 

Essential Functions  

  • Provide daily administrative support to existing exchange programs
  • Maintain frequent contact with program participants
  • Maintain a database of CEL exchange program participants and stakeholders
  • Assist with the preparation of travel documents for international students and scholars
  • Assist with new business development efforts, including background research, proposal writing, and copyediting
  • Provide support drafting program reports and other program materials such as social media posts and website content. program developments on social media platforms 
  • Assist with planning and implementation of internal and external events
  • Support program staff in budgeting exercise
  • Other support duties as needed

Education  

  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, education, social work, area studies, management, or another relevant field required.

Qualifications/Experience  

  • At least one year of work experience is preferred; work experience on exchange programs is highly desirable
  • Excellent writing and editing skills are required
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Knowledge of U.S. Government regulations on exchange visitor programs preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
