SUMMARY 

Eurasia Foundation (EF) is seeking an experienced expert to design a multi-session virtual workshop on organizational capacity building for civil society and human rights organizations operating within closed societies. EF is looking for individual’s adept at creating engaging and practical online workshops tailored for e-learning audiences in low bandwidth environments.  

DUTIES 

• Design content and workshop structure with the goal of creating an engaging and practical online learning environment for remote learners. 
• Articulate Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) tools and proficiently communicate risk assessment methods to participants. 
• Lead and facilitate engaging OCA workshops, ensuring dynamic participation and knowledge exchange. 
• Facilitate an engaging and dynamic OCA workshop. 
• Determine topics and subtopics and learning goals for each workshop. 
• Include tangible examples and pertinent case studies into the workshops to effectively illustrate concepts and stimulate active learning. 
• Work with the program staff to revise the content as necessary, to ensure that content is clear, technically accurate, and engaging.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Experience:

•  Demonstrated expertise in human rights reporting, advocacy initiatives, and workshop design, specifically in organizational capacity assessment and risk assessment methodologies
• Proven track record in developing engaging learning experiences within challenging contexts. 
• Familiarity with human rights frameworks, UPR cycles, and experience in closed civic spaces is a plus. 
• Ideal candidates have relevant working experience in Farsi-speaking countries; 
• Native fluency in Persian/Dari is a plus.

Education:

•  Master’s degree or equivalent in human rights, law, education, social sciences, management, or a related area required; 
• Combination of education and years of experience is an acceptable substitute.
