Summary
Eurasia Foundation (EF) is seeking an experienced, trauma-informed organizational psychologist who has experience working with international and/or multi-cultural teams. The organizational psychologist will support a mid-sized department frequently engaging with traumatic environments. The organizational psychologist is also responsible for guiding efforts to further foster an inclusive and supportive workplace that promotes resilience, emotional well-being, and productivity.
Essential Functions:
- Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the unique emotional and organizational needs of a multi-cultural nonprofit staff exposed to traumatic situations.
- Group Workshops: Develop and deliver training workshops to educate staff on trauma-informed practices, effective nonprofit workplace systems, and crisis management protocols.
- Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling and support to staff regarding interpersonal, professional, wellness, and trauma-related challenges.
Qualifications:
- Minimum master's degree or equivalent in industrial-organizational psychology or a related field required.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience as an industrial/organizational psychologist.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Solid experience with multi-cultural/international/bilingual teams and teams working in traumatic and high-crisis environments.
- Fluency in Farsi/Dari is preferred and proficiency in English is required
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and emotional situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, cross-cultural, and culture-sensitive care principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled workshop and group session facilitator.
