Salary: $50,000-$62,000 Salary is commensurate with experience. Starting salary within the range provided is based on the candidate’s relevant experience and skills for the role.

EF has offices and programs in the Eurasia region, the Middle East, and China. 

 

Eurasia Foundation (EF) is accepting applications for a Program Associate (PA) to join EF’s Innovative Training Solutions team. The PA reports to the Program Manager and will directly contribute to the successful implementation of EF’s innovative civil society capacity building program, promoting educational advocacy and teacher activism. 

 

Essential Functions 

  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of program activities such as capacity building trainings and online workshops and conferences; 
  • Monitor the progress of educational courses towards program outcomes, and contribute to revising program’s strategies accordingly if necessary; 
  • Liaise with course instructors to ensure clear communication with course participants; 
  • Cofacilitate virtual workshops, online courses, and individual sessions with participants and instructors; 
  • Design innovative methods to engage program participants; 
  • Conduct outreach campaigns utilizing social media tools and other methods as necessary; 
  • Provide substantial support in drafting narrative quarterly and final reports; 
  • Provide administrative support for program-related procurements; 
  • Assist with developing multimedia content for the program website and social media accounts when required; 
  • Contribute to increasing the traffic on website and social media and maintain activity; 
  • Coordinate with various consultants and collaborators to ensure events, services, and resources are produced and delivered on time.  

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in international development, social work, international education, area studies or other relevant field required; Master’s degree preferred 

 

Qualifications 

  • At least three years of work experience is required; work experience on international development projects is preferred 
  • Experience with social media tools, blogging, content management systems, and E-learning platforms such as WordPress and Moodle 
  • Experience in educational projects and online training is a plus 
  • Familiarity with internal development projects, such as civil society capacity building, NGO; experience with living, studying, traveling or working in cross-cultural contexts strongly preferred 
  • Familiarity with creating advocacy campaigns is highly desired 
  • Exceptional writing, research, and communications skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to exercise good judgment when faced with complex decisions 
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a wide range of situations 
  • Must be comfortable discussing issues surrounding sexual violence 
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable; responsive to new information and adjusts plans as needed 
  • Fluency in English and Farsi/Dari is required.
