Summary
Eurasia Foundation (EF) is seeking individuals with experience and expertise in providing instruction for online training courses to provide participants with tools and strategies to boost their understanding of the UNCRPD, disability rights, and advocacy principles. The individual should have experience presenting to diverse groups of individuals in an engaging and interactive manner to motivate participants and enhance their knowledge of their rights. Further information about this position and the project will be discussed during the interview process.
Scope of Work
- Provide remote instruction and facilitate online training courses
- Present the predetermined curriculum in a clear and engaging manner
- Interact with course participants outside of course sessions and be available to answer questions, discuss challenges, and provide similar support
- Increase participants’ knowledge and understanding of the UNCRPD and disability rights
- Introduce additional educational resources to participants on related course topics
- Analyze and evaluate the impact, outcomes, and risk of the online course and provide short reports and recommendations
- Utilize a student-centered approach and encourage inclusivity and respect
Education
- Master’s degree or equivalent in disability studies, human rights, social sciences, or a related area required; PhD preferred.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Ability to effectively deliver and present course material/information to others
- Strong interpersonal skills to build a positive relationship with the course participants, consultant, and project team
- Experience with the disability rights community, social justice, UNCRPD, and advocacy
- Demonstrated experience as an in-person or online training facilitator
- Experience working with telecommunications services is highly preferred
- Fluency in written and spoken Farsi/Dari is required
