  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $72,500  Salary is commensurate with experience. Starting salary within the range provided is based on the candidate's relevant experience and skills for the role.

Eurasia Foundation (EF), a US non-profit organization promoting civil society development and good governance, is accepting applications for an Information Technology Coordinator in our Washington, D.C. office.  

The Information Technology Coordinator will work with stakeholders and service providers to coordinate projects and support information technology (IT) solutions and users across the organization. This position is crucial for ensuring IT solutions work efficiently and securely, as well as that users are properly trained and satisfied. The position requires the ability to routinely coordinate hardware/software technology lifecycle processes and projects, and support users. The ideal candidate will understand information technology management principles through the lens of user experience, risk management concepts and processes in a non-profit, international environment. 

 

DUTIES 

 

  • Coordinate IT project activities and support a cyber security risk management program. 

  • Conduct internal IT assessments and assist with security audits as assigned. 

  • Partner with the Managed Service Provider to provide technology support to staff including conference room technology support. 

  • Train staff in efficient equipment and software usage, including Microsoft 365 applications. Assist users with finding appropriate solutions for Microsoft 365 and other software/technology questions and issues. 

  • Update equipment and software inventory and related standards. Assist with the inventory acquisition and decommissioning. 

  • Manage corporate mobile phone provisioning and lifecycle. Liaise with the service provider to obtain new phones, assign phones to users, monitor policy compliance, and assist users with resolving issues.  

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate user onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment and software provisioning and retrieval. 

  • Create and keep relevant equipment and software training materials on the intranet portal. 

  • Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, place orders, process invoices, and reconcile differences as needed. 

  • Assist with various software platforms and services, including Microsoft 365; Apple Business Manager; Google Workplace; website technology. 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Business Process and Knowledge Management Officer. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology and 2 to 4 years of related professional experience. 

  • Working knowledge and strong interest in Information Technology implementation and management principles and processes, including software implementation, inventory lifecycle management and user support. 

  • Working knowledge of cloud computing systems, including Google Workplace, MS 365; SharePoint Online, MS Power Automate to carry out activities. 

  • Experience with MS Intune mobile device management and Apple business manager, and mobile telecom providers is highly desired. 

  • Experience working with conference room equipment. 

  • Experience working with and coordinating 3rd party service providers. 

  • Comfort and familiarity with technology with a user experience mindset. Customer-service orientation, particularly for internal clients. 

  • Attention to detail. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • ITIL, MS Intune certification or willingness to obtain them. 

  • Professional proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, Persian, Russian, or Ukrainian is a plus.
