Eurasia Foundation seeks a full-time internal communications intern to support our strategic communications activities. The intern will report to the senior communications officer and work closely with the communications team, providing administrative support and assisting with special projects and events. This person plays a key role in creatively facilitating agile communication among teams across the organization. This is a year-long, full-time position with the possibility of extension.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career international development professional to work collaboratively with a mission-driven organization supporting international development work in Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East, and Asia.


• Assist in developing creative ways to share EF program highlights and promote organizational awareness across channels.

• In cooperation with Human Resources and Knowledge Management teams, assist in creating internal announcements and guidelines that clearly and engagingly communicate organizational policies, procedures, and developments to staff.

• Migrate and organize files in EF’s archives to more accessible file structures.

• Assist with administrative tasks, as needed.
 • Other duties as assigned by the senior communications officer.


• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in a related field of study;

• Demonstrated interest in international development and civil society strengthening through studies, work experience, and/or personal experiences or travel;

• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas in a creative, fast-paced environment;

• A self-starter able to work independently, manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail, and meet strict deadlines;

• Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills;

• Able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
