The Program Assistant works under close supervision of the Program Officer, provides administrative support to the Program Team towards achievement of goals and objectives of the International Disability Advocacy Resource Exchange (iDARE) and School of Entrepreneurship and Leadership (SEAL) programs. Responsibilities include responding to requests from staff and Program Leads, administrative duties, and overall support and coordination. This position also assists with other aspects of the program, to include assisting with report writing, processing of payments, and assisting with proposal development efforts. 


Program Support and Administration: Performs variety of tasks as assigned by Program Lead to support program goals, objectives, and deliverables.
• Performs variety and full range of administrative tasks to support Program, including organizing and coordinating events, courses, or activities.
• Assists with variety of duties related to international travel of program participants, to include arranging travel, processing stipends and payments, booking tours, scheduling and coordinating activities for their arrival, stay, and return.
• Provides liaison support between EF staff, program participants, consultants, and other organizations/ partners involved in a successful program.
• Assists with duties related to monitoring and evaluation.
• Coordinates and prepares necessary documents and paperwork required for the program.
• Assists with data collection, information gathering, data analysis, proofreading and editing for reports, and may provide initial draft for reports to be submitted.
• Processes invoices, stipends and requests for payments, in accordance with policies and procedures and program budget.
• Provides assistance with business development activities, including research and writing as assigned.


• Bachelor’s degree in international studies, social sciences or another related field is strongly preferred 


• Minimum 6 months experience required in international development work, including experience in international development programs; experience with living, studying, traveling or working in cross-cultural contexts strongly preferred 


• Must have written and verbal language proficiency and communication skills in English
• Must be proficient in reading, writing and spoken Russian, with the ability to translate documents and provide consecutive interpretation
• Knowledge and understanding of Russian culture and civil society environment
• Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects
