Alumni Facilitator/ Advocacy expert, Online Training Program

Eurasia Foundation (EF) is accepting applications for an Alumni Facilitator to facilitate virtual learning and networking among a cohort of civil society leaders and respond to the need for educational advocacy among teachers. The Alumni Facilitator will help CSO leaders identify and weigh alternate solutions to educational issues while enabling them to sustain and advance their advocacy campaignsEF will fill this position with a self-motivator and someone with a keen attention to detail.  


  • Maintain strong relationships with alumni while monitoring their participation in the discussions of alumni forums. 

  • Provide one-on-one consultation to alumni members, on an as needed basis and provide regular reports to EF on the outcomes of the consultation services. 

  • Find relevant and reliable information resources relating to educational advocacy and the labor rights of teachers.  

  • Provide quality, insightful comments and advice to the CSO leaders in a way that assists them to safely continue their advocacy campaigns. 

  • Liaise with guest speakers to coordinate live chats with alumnae. 

  • Makes recommendations for functional improvements to the Technical Officer. 

  • Design and facilitate content with the aim of creating an engaging online learning environment for remote participants in coordination with Program staff. 

  • Work with Program staff to modify content if necessary.

  • Extensive experience and background in professional training, advanced knowledge in labor law as well as supporting advocacy training projects.  Experience with developing online learning pedagogy, particularly towards practical social learning, networking, and inclusivity. 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in education, social sciences, management, or a related area required; Combination of education and years of experience is an acceptable substitute.  

  • Ideal candidates have relevant working experience in Farsi-speaking countries; Fluency in written and spoken Farsi/Dari is a plus.
