Course Instructor, Disability Rights and Empowerment

Eurasia Foundation (EF), a US-based international development organization promoting civil society strengthening, good governance, and economic development, is accepting applications for an expert to facilitate online courses for a period between six to eight weeks.


  • Instruct distance learning students, and interact with them on a daily basis;
  • Seed discussion questions in forums and monitor students’ involvement in the social learning platform;
  • Assist students in developing accurate and detailed advocacy strategies and project plans;  
  • Coach students as they implement their advocacy plans and projects based on the built partnerships and the developed media strategies;
  • Introduce additional resources to students as secondary reading materials;
  • Facilitate networking opportunities among the students through creative initiatives;
  • Evaluate the pre- and post- course exams in order to ascertain the knowledge gained of each student;
  • Provide an assessment of courses, including recommendations for changes in content, structure and activities.


  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Education or a related area required;
  • Strong demonstrated experience and background in education and training the trainer methodology;
  • Having work experience or strong knowledge on the rights of people with disability; 
  • Experience with teaching online learning pedagogy, particularly towards social learning and networking in the online format;
  • Ideal candidates have relevant working experience in Iran;
  • Fluency in written and spoken Persian (Farsi) is required. Fluency in written and spoken English is a plus.
