Eurasia Foundation (EF) is accepting applications for subject matter expert to facilitate an online course on United Nations Women, Peace, and Security framework. The individual should have experience presenting to diverse groups in a blended learning environment where course content is prepared and delivered synchronously and online through a Learning Management System (LMS). In addition, the consultant, in collaboration with the EF team, would help participants learning journey, implement lesson plans, and provide tools and techniques to support participants' advocacy initiatives.


• Provide remote instruction, interact with course participants daily, and foster a collaborative, open environment for discussion, critique, and learning
• Educate the participants on major concepts and practices of the Women, Peace, and Security framework within the context of Afghanistan
• Support participants in identifying and utilizing various tools and strategies to enhance their future advocacy plans
• Increase participants' knowledge of mapping the key stakeholders and building strategies through class participation, discussions, and assignments
• Seed discussion questions in forums and monitor participants' involvement in the program's social learning platform
• Introduce additional educational resources to participants on related topics about the WPS framework
• Facilitate networking opportunities among the participants during the sessions and post sessions

 • Master's degree or equivalent in education, social sciences, development, or a related area required
• A combination of education and years of experience in training and facilitation is an acceptable substitute


• Strong demonstrated experience and background in professional online or in-person training
• Individuals with knowledge and expertise in women, peace, security, and gender equality are preferred
• Understanding of the regional and local context of Afghanistan
• Experience with developing a strategic plan, particularly toward practical social learning, networking, and inclusivity 


• Fluency in written and spoken Farsi/Dari is required
