Position Summary
Eurasia Foundation (EF) is accepting applications for an expert on Multimedia journalism for civil society leaders. This position is set to develop and facilitate an original curriculum for a five-week interactive online course on multimedia production, utilizing a variety of motion graphics and video editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Canva, Premiere Pro, and Final Cut. EF will fill this position with a self-motivator and someone with a keen attention to detail. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create weekly topics and subtopics and learning goals for the course curriculum in coordination with Program staff;
  • Design and facilitate content and course structure with the aim of creating an engaging online learning environment for remote participants in coordination with Program staff;
  • Design and facilitate practical assignments and forum discussion questions in line with the course’s desired learning outcomes;
  • The designed curricula should assist community leaders to identify and assess risks associated with their projects;
  • Work with program staff to modify the content if necessary;
  • Design pre and post course exams for evaluation purposes.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Graphic Design and Multimedia Creation.
  • Demonstrated experience working in learning and development with an emphasis on the use of multimedia strategies and design tools, such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate and Adobe Creative Suite to create and deliver rich, engaging online learning content.[Ni1] 
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating to audiences of varying expertise, as well as collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Fluency in Farsi / Dari is preferred.
