EF's U.S.-Russia Social Expertise Exchange Independent Professionals Initiative is building the capacity of women leaders in the United States and Russia to address global social challenges, including inclusivity and visibility of persons with disabilities (PWD).

This year's all-Russian cohort is tackling a range of disability rights issues, including workplace opportunity; assistive technology and urban accessibility; and adaptive physical education for children with disabilities. From Izhevsk to Colorado Springs, Moscow to San Francisco and Long Beach, fellows will travel to the U.S. for up to three weeks to conduct site visits and collaborate with international partners. Upon their return, fellows will hold trainings and seminars to disseminate newly acquired knowledge and expertise locally.
