Human Rights Today: YPN Hosts Freedom House Experts

On October 29, 2019, Eurasia Foundation will host Marc Behrendt, Director of Europe and Eurasia Programs at Freedom House, for a full-house discussion on the latest civil society and human rights developments in Eurasia. EF also plans to welcome back Gina Lentine, Senior Program Officer for Europe and Eurasia at Freedom House and YPN Class of 2014 alum, to moderate the event.

The off-the-record discussion will cover the latest on-the-ground developments in Eurasia, the realities of working at an organization like Freedom House, as well as the development of the human rights space and professional opportunities over the past two decades. Following the discussion, fellows will be invited for a catered informal networking event with the speakers, as well as YPN alums and fellow cohort members.
