Eurasia Foundation (EF) a private grant making organization that works with local foundations in the Eurasia Region. The Online and Women Entrepreneurship (OWE) program of the Eurasia Foundation seeks a Persian language graphic designer to serve as a short-term contractor over a six month period.  The consultant will create and upload images for the OWE website on an as needed task order basis.

Duties:

·         Edit pre-existing images, including adding or subtracting text and cropping or expanding image size.

·         Create images which fit the overall aesthetic of the website.

·         Upload images on to the website.

·         Format and edit images and fonts.

Qualifications:

Education: BFA, or BA, and educational background in graphic design.

Experience: Must have experience with Persian language design and strong understanding of Iranian culture. At least one year of experience in graphic design for websites. Strong proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, as well as with websites. Experience with Drupal or other open source software a plus.

Other: Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Fluency in written and spoken in English and Persian is required. Knowledge of Iranian multimedia.

Payment will be commensurate with experience.
