Eurasia Foundation (EF) is a privately managed grant-making organization that assists grass-roots organizations working to improve public policy and administration, develop private enterprise and advance the goals of civil society. EF operates in 12 countries of the former Soviet Union: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Eurasia Foundation headquarters are in Washington, DC, and the field offices are organized into four regional offices: the South Caucasus, Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova), Central Asia, and Russia. The worldwide staff numbers roughly 200 individuals.
Description
The Eurasia Foundation seeks an experienced web production consultant to guide the design, implementation, and evaluation of its on-line programs. After consulting on the design of the programs, the consultant will be brought in at each quarter to review the programs and provide targeted advice to achieve the most impact. The consultant will:
Work with the special initiatives program manager to ensure appropriate Requests for Proposals, design and production of the websites by vendors.
Establish a timeline to provide 100 hours of support to help produce, monitor and evaluate website performance throughout the year.
Provide general training on web production process.
Upon hiring of the consultant, the program manager and the consultant will review Requests for Proposals and address any gaps of information.
