Evaluation System

In order to improve Eurasia Foundation's program performance and to ensure utilization of lessons learned, the Foundation focuses on two pillars in program evaluation: learning and accountability.

Learning

Evaluation is a learning process. The Foundation endeavors to understand its best practices and lessons learned to improve its future program performance. Once identified, the evaluations, best practices and lessons learned can be shared across regions. Through this active learning process, we capture institutional knowledge, portray successful accomplishments and judge future programmatic activities based on its past program experience.

Accountability

The Foundation generates funding from outside sources. We are accountable for both results and expenditures to beneficiaries, donors, trustees and board members. Evaluation assesses whether or not the program resulted in changes consistent with the intended program outcomes. Evaluation can determine efficient use of funds.
