EF Network Presidents in the News East Europe Foundation President Andrew Wilson's article, Deepening Financial Crisis Should Not Derail Corporate Social Responsibility, appeared in the October 15th issue of the Kyiv Post, Ukraine's leading English-language newspaper. In his article, Mr. Wilson stresses that it is in companies' best interests to continue their philanthropic endeavors in a difficult market.
Andrei Kortunov, President of the New Eurasia Foundation in Russia, wrote A Crisis Letter to Expats, which appeared in the October 29th edition of the Moscow Times. As Russian businessmen went from optimism to panic with the recent economic crisis, Mr. Kortunov expressed that "Now is the time for expats to teach their Russian colleagues a few simple lessons based on the West's long experience of developing its market economy."
