Since 1993, Eurasia Foundation (EF) has received direct contributions totaling over $360 million in support of its civil society, public administration and private enterprise development programs in the former Soviet Union.
Eurasia Foundation's overall goal is to provide financial support and practical experience to individuals and organizations in the Eurasia region that are working to improve their communities and societies over the long term.
Our donors' generous support directly helps our grantees and programs achieve sustainability(read more about our funding in the Financialssection). The majority of this support has come from the U.S. government through multi-year core grants from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). EF also receives funding from a diverse range of sources outside the U.S. government, including foreign governments, U.S. and international corporations and foundations, international development organizations, and Eurasia-based companies and organizations.
The Foundation has raised nearly $80 million from such non-U.S. government sources, providing additional support to its field programs. In addition to direct financial support, Eurasia Foundation receives vital in-kind support in the form of resource materials, equipment and expertise.
Eurasia Foundation gladly accepts contributions from foundations, corporations, governments and private citizens. For more information, please contact Eric Boyle, Director of Development, at (202) 234-7370.
