On November 15, a delegation from Eurasia Foundation (EF) including EF President Horton Beebe-Center, EPF President George Zarubin and Armenia Country Director Gevorg Ter- Gabrielyan, met with President Robert Kocharian of Armenia. During the meeting, Mr. Beebe-Center and the President talked about EF’s 13-year history of successful civil society, private enterprise and community development initiatives in the country. The delegation also discussed the Foundation’s plans for the future, including the establishment of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF)—a locally registered foundation that will work in the South Caucasus as part of EF’s network of partner organizations.

President Kocharian expressed his approval at EF’s efforts to improve the welfare of Armenian citizens, adding that he looks forward to continued cooperation between Armenia’s governmental and non-governmental organizations and EF.
