Jeffrey Erlich has been named the new president of the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia (EFCA) by its Board of Trustees. Erlich has worked with EF since 2001, overseeing its field offices in all five Central Asian countries, as well as regional initiatives there.
He holds a master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a bachelor’s degree from American University.
Erlich replaces Andrew Wilson, who assumed his new position as EF’s regional vice president for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova on June 1. In this role, Wilson will lead the effort to establish a local foundation based in Kyiv.
