New Eurasia Foundation to Hold Social Investment Forum
On July 27, New Eurasia Foundation’s Russian Far East office, in partnership with the government of Primorsky Kray, will hold the Social Investments Forum in the Russian Far East, which will bring together local and regional leaders from government, business and non-profit organizations. Participants in the forum will share their success stories and best practices, as well as discuss key concepts such as corporate social responsibility and socially responsible employers. By encouraging participants to form lasting partnerships, the forum’s organizers hope to advance their goal of increasing socio-economic development in the region.
The Social Investment Forum will take place in Vladivostok as part of the first Pacific Economic Congress. Seeking to promote economic cooperation between Russia’s Far East and Asia-Pacific countries, the Congress will attract such notable participants as Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, Minister of Trade and Development German Gref and Minister of Finance Alexei Kudrin.
